Hi, i have a couple of quick questions if you dont mind.

1. wiring interface map says to tie aref to 5v, do i still need to do this if im not using any analogue inputs?

2. My SSRs datasheet says they need 8-12mA on the control side but wiring guide says they must not exceed 5mA. Will this still work or is there a way i can make them work?

Thanks, Chris.

1. No.. you do not need to tie +5V to Aref if you are not using analog. We recommend it while you are wiring to make it easy ahead of time, but that's your call.

2. The max per pin on the MEGA is 15mA. You can use whatever quality SSR that works for your application, as long as you are only using a few (say 4 or less).

Nice catch! We need to update that. Apologies... The Interface Wiring map shows the max and desired outputs... I suppose we just picked the lower of the two to be safer. We have not seen any issues with the MEGA powering a few SSRs.
