I am wondering if there is a reference for what the text formatting tags are, such as b /b (< and > left out).  I have poked around and figured out some of them but it would be nice if there was a list.  I looked in the manual without success, sorry if I just missed it.

(sorry if this is a double post, I tried posting it once but I think I messed it up)

Text formatting? Can you clarify where you are applying this?

I was doing this in the Suffix field under the Calibration tab for a device (1-wire temp probe).  The specific example was superscripting an 'o' so that I could make the degrees symbol.  In the background image of the Brucontrol website, the temperatures are shown with that formatting on the kettles, and I was trying to replicate that.

It isn't particularly important for this, but it would be nice to know if there are more formatting options available and if those are generally available anywhere in the interface or just in certain fields.

Thanks!

That’s crazy. I had no idea it would do that! Hence there is no list in the manual!

The degree sign is a degree symbol... you can insert it using a symbol editor and cutting/pasting.

Ok, well that explains it. I’ll just use that option then.

Somehow, fumbling around in the script section (with mouse clicks and possibly keyboard pushes), I was able to bring up text editor settings. I am not sure how I have done it but I have done it twice. Maybe the coding can be seen from there.

Quickest way to enter a Symbol is type your text in a Word Processor and insert the Symbol.

Do you text in the Word Processor:   YourText °F

Copy and Paste the text to the Name Text Field.

Attached is a copy of my Radiator Device Element

I just copied and pasted the text in the reply above and it worked as well.
