Was "Part 4" of the UniCon build series ever created / posted? I assume the answer is at least "not yet", but wonder if / when that might happen?

Thanks.

I installed 240VAC, 60A GFCI in my brew room and I need a 14-50P main plug for a controller that can run 2 5500 watt elements at the same time along with dual pumps, I don't see that option on the UniCon. I want to build the equivalent of the Double Batch controller that come on the Spike Trio System but using BruControl, do I have to build my own controller or do you have a solution?

The UniCon indeed has a 14-50P and will run simultaneous elements. You will be able to do double batches with it.

I don't see that configuration listed on the website, can you help guide me to where I would find it?

Are you asking about the UniCon or the UniFlex? The UniCon is not on the website at all yet. I can answer any questions you have in the meantime though.

@pbruno3 You got me, I was looking at the controller on the website so what is a UniCon and how do I learn more about it?

The UniCon is a more standard style enclosure with up to 50A of power. This is the gig for those looking for full expansion and automation pathway. We are filming the build of one, so that those looking to build their own can... but ultimately if someone wants to buy it turnkey, they will be able to also.

Look at the website under Build... Videos. You can see the first three videos in the series there.

@pbruno3 I loved the videos and I think I would like to build a UniCon, can you get me a parts list and schematic for it?

I was looking at connectors for the UniCon I/O and I was wondering if Ethernet Cat6 was OK to use as they have 8 pins and I can get a patch panel like this to support 48 devices.

I personally don't love ethernet for cabling and connectors as these are also not super-industrial strength, but you could certainly use them if handy. That panel makes it kinda easy for sure!
